As a sustainability strategist and transformation coach with over 20 years of experience, I’ve worked across private consulting, government, academia, and international NGOs—helping projects, institutions, and businesses become catalysts for real, measurable, and transformative impact.

One of the most powerful examples of impact was captured in a published study I co-authored as part of my PhD: “Civic Ecology Uplifts Low-Income Communities, Improves Ecosystem Services and Well-Being, and Strengthens Social Cohesion.”

This paper was part of a broader body of my PhD research that contributes to the evolution of sustainability frameworks—by linking global policy goals to local actions and providing evidence of impact across civic, academic, and government-led initiatives.

Using a systems-based approach and grounded in ecosystem services theory, my work highlighted how local interventions—when strategically designed and implemented—can:

• Improve human well-being
• Restore natural capital and ecological infrastructure
• Contribute directly to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
